Killeen Independent School District (KISD), a 30,000+ student school district in central Texas, used Datum’s proprietary ReRoll tool to assist with re-enrolling 4,137 students that were missing due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Datum provided KISD with actionable data for 1,532 students who still lived at their pre-pandemic addresses and 74 students that lived in the district but at different addresses.

Equally important, Datum provided KISD a list of over 2,600 students who were no longer in the district, so they would not have to expend valuable resources searching for those students. KISD then initiated a direct contact re-enrollment effort that resulted in 919 re-enrollments within a two-week period. Additionally, KISD determined that another 432 students were enrolled in either private schools or homeschooled within the KISD footprint.
